OTR Reefer Truck Driver Job – $1,000 Weekly Pay Guarantee
This OTR reefer truck driver job offers nationwide routes, modern equipment, and a $1,000 weekly pay guarantee for qualifying company drivers. In addition, drivers haul mostly no-touch refrigerated freight while operating reliable Kenworth trucks.
Because freight runs across all 48 states, drivers can expect steady work and consistent miles.
$1,000 Weekly Pay Guarantee
Company long-haul drivers may qualify for a $1,000 gross weekly pay guarantee. This amount includes CPM pay (regular and per diem) as well as the weekly performance bonus.
The guarantee is measured over a four-week average period. However, drivers must meet several requirements to qualify.
Guarantee Requirements
To qualify for the guarantee, drivers must:
-
Complete 30 days of employment before eligibility begins
-
Work 22 days during a 28-day period
-
Maintain no service failures
-
Avoid preventable accidents
This schedule allows up to six days of home time each month.
The weekly pay period runs Friday through Thursday. If a driver works the full schedule but averages less than $1,000 during the four-week period, the company will adjust wages upward.
However, drivers must remain employed through the adjustment pay date to receive the guarantee payment.
Driver Types
This opportunity is available for two driver categories:
-
Company Drivers
-
Independent Contractors
Both driver types run OTR solo routes.
Home Time and Time on the Road
Drivers should expect to stay on the road for extended runs.
Most drivers run three to four weeks at a time and receive about four days of home time each month.
However, some drivers may build additional home time. As a result, they may occasionally get home every two weeks.
Even so, most drivers should plan on consistent three-to-four-week runs.
Primary Running Area
Drivers operate throughout all 48 states.
However, freight lanes can change depending on customer demand. Because of this, drivers may run different regions throughout the year.
Weekly Miles
Weekly miles depend on dispatch schedules and freight availability.
However, drivers generally maintain steady miles during most weeks.
Freight Type
Drivers on this account haul refrigerated freight.
Typical freight includes:
-
Boxed beef
-

-
Other general commodities
Because trailers are usually preloaded, drivers spend less time handling freight.
Freight breakdown includes:
-
99% no-touch freight
-
About 70% drop and hook
As a result, drivers can focus mainly on driving and on-time deliveries.
Equipment
Drivers operate dependable and modern equipment.
Truck specifications include:
-
Kenworth T680 tractors
-
Automatic transmissions
-
Outward-facing cameras only
Drivers with automatic transmission restrictions are accepted.

Truck Features
Each driver receives a permanently assigned truck.
Truck features include:
-
APU units
-

-
65 MPH truck speed
Because trucks are assigned, drivers can keep their equipment organized and comfortable.
Drivers may also take the truck home, provided they have a safe location to park both the truck and trailer.
Layover Pay
Drivers may qualify for $100 layover pay in certain situations.
For example, layover pay applies if 24 hours pass between an empty call and the next load while the driver remains available for dispatch.
It may also apply when a driver cannot work because:
-
The truck needs repairs after a breakdown
-
The truck is in the body shop after a non-preventable accident
-
The truck has reached its trade date
